For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
I like this definition of Grace:
1.
a. A disposition to be generous or helpful; goodwill.
b. Mercy; clemency.
c. Divine love and protection bestowed freely on people.
d. The state of being protected or sanctified by the favor of God.
e. An excellence or power granted by God.

2. A favor rendered by one who need not do so; indulgence.
Have you heard of Dr. Charles Stanley's definition of GRACE? Undeserved mercy freely given to us. (don't quote me on this, but you can check out the INTOUCH website--a really good resource). Thanks for posting such an important word we take for granted every day (at least I do)
