Clutter Busting Challenge December 2015 Part 3

I'm purging 25 items that makes 112 items in December.

I wasn't able to complete both 2015 challenge sheets in 2015 but I did purge 3216 items for the year. I will continue the habit of purging in 2016. My home is comfortable after 5 years so I’ll be concentrating on decluttering other projects. I’m going to collect my purge in my donation hamper as I find items. I'll do a sweep of the house and storage areas on the 1st of every month. I’m looking forward to making a donation run once a month rather than weekly.

Christmas Party

My husband Shawn and I, along with our children and grandchildren did a Christmas party for my stepdad at the nursing home last night. We borrowed a room, carried the meal in, and did a gift exchange. My stepdad Pete will be 90 years old in May. He cried when I gave him his gift which was a photo collage of all of us. He can’t remember anyone’s name (due to alzheimer's) besides my husband and I but he was happy to see everyone.

Christmas in the Living Room

Welcome to my home. Thank you for visiting this Christmas season. Come sit and visit in the living room awhile as we enjoy the seasons decorations. I hope you don't mind my grand dog Penny is spending time lounging on the couch. I have a lot of blue in my living room and tried very hard this year to blend in the blue and the traditional colors of Christmas. I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
