KonMari Week 13: Pantry and Fridge Part 2

I'm working on the Pantry and Fridge during week 13.

I did my my pantry items that are stored in my basement today. I didn't have anything to discard but I did reorganize a bit. It's time to start stocking up for winter/holidays. I'll do a canned good shop in a couple weeks. I need more water too. I've already started collecting a few things for the Holidays like crackers and quick baking supplies. I have 4 paint buckets filled with beans/grains.

KonMari Week 13: Pantry and Fridge Part 1

I'm working on the Pantry and Fridge during week 13.

My husband and I did the pantry together since we like to stocking up on non-perishables before the Holidays/Winter. We did a stock-up on grains/beans and shopped a couple of scratch/dent stores for a few items like cake mixes and crackers. We like to eat whole foods but do buy a minimal amount of prepackaged/already prepared foods/snacks. I bought a few food containers to complete my collection in my grain/bean cabinet. We still need to stock up on canned goods. I put shelf liner in my kitchen cabinets and drawers which lead to doing kitchen cooking/baking supplies and kitchen dishes/serving supplies. I have kitchen categories in the basement to do still. I didn’t finish my recipe file box during paper but will in one of the kitchen weeks.

KonMari Week 12: Utility Supplies

I have supplies under the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, on shelves going into the basement, and a shelf in the basement. I use boxes to keep items contained on my basement shelves. I didn't discard anything but I straighten up a bit. I have a mix match of cleaning supplies because most were given to me. I'm trying to use up my supplies and eventually just have a couple brands that I buy. My shopping list always has the same stuff and brands. It makes life easier.

Clutter Busting Challenge September 2016 Part 1

That's 66 items for the month so far and 1600 items for the year.  I've been working on the Komono categories of Electronics and Music, Hobbies and Crafting, and PreK Homeschool. My husband was tested for food allergies this week and is allergic to Hazelnuts/Filbert and Mustard Seed. There's mustard seed in a lot of condiments.

KonMari Week 10: Hobbies and Crafting Part 3

I'm working on Hobbies and Crafting during week 10.

I'm sharing the subcategory of  gardening.  My husband and I spent time tiding up our yard along with pulling weeds and doing outside house repairs before the winter sets in. We moved our yard furniture into the barn too.

KonMari Week 10: Hobbies and Crafting Part 2

I'm working on Hobbies and Crafting during week 10.

I shared pictures of my little office during Office Supplies week. I continued to work on it and wanted to share a few areas for Hobbies and Crafting week. I worked on my scrapbook paper/stickers crates by organizing them a bit and discarding a few small paper packs. I bought 6 pencil boxes for $1.00 at a flea market to add to my pencil box shelf. I have smaller items in my pencil boxes like writing utensils, glue, and paper punches. I have 4 empty pencil boxes on the shelf and will wait to see what wants to live in them. I don’t have anything right now to go in them and won’t be really looking to buy anything.

KonMari Week 10: Hobbies and Crafting Part 1

I'm working on Hobbies and Crafting during week 10.

We’ve been working on the subcategory of camping supplies. Its good timing since we are going on a camping trip this next weekend. We set up, aired out, and sprayed rain repellent on 2 different tents this week before tearing them down and packing them up. We gathered and packed our supplies before sitting them in one location in the shed. Once we get home we’ll put everything away on the same shelf in the shed. We hadn’t been camping in many years so the supplies were in various places in the shed and basement. We still need to pack food and clothing. We’ll put dry food in one tote, cold food in the cooler, and clothing in tote bags.

KonMari Week 9: Electronics and Music Part 4

I'm working on Electronics and Music during week 9.

Huge disclaimer: This is not my stuff and not my responsibility. LOL The family room is where our young adult children keep their computers. Our youngest son’s computer is temporarily in my exercise room due to the having friends over and needed more space. He’ll be moving back to the family room shortly. The family room is the only room in the house the kids have personal items except their bedrooms.
