When I am feeding a crowd I like to go with pasta dishes. I can premake them the day before and put them in the refrigerator until an hour before my guests arrive when I put them in the oven. There’s no last minute fuss and I can enjoy my guests instead of working in the kitchen. I frequently have both my daughters prepare a dish along with me and we can have the food prepped in less than an hour.
