Coloring Cards: Creative Expressions Part 4

I've been working on this coloring card box since July called, Creative Expressions. It has 44 cards per box and this is the last 15 cards. It took a year for me to complete my first box of cards, Colorful Blessings. I'm happy I was able to complete this second box within 9 months. I have 2 more boxes of cards yet to do.

If you'd like to view the other cards in the series check out my posts, Coloring Cards: Creative Expressions, Coloring Cards: Creative Expressions Part 2, and Coloring Cards: Creative Expressions Part 3.

Lent: #40 of 40 Days of Projects

I decide to paint the little box that I use for my planner supplies. The box used to be for a microscope but I tore out the divided sections in the drawers for the glass sides several years ago.

This picture from December shows what the planner box normally looks like on my shelf in my little office.

I took off the little door, took out the drawers, took off all the hardware, and sanded my planner box.

My planner box painted and the hardware being put back on by my husband.

Lent: #38 of 40 Days of Projects

My mom had a health crisis a month ago and was told she's not stable enough to live on her own. She's moved into a nursing home, she's only 65 yrs. old. She's a alcoholic and has mental health issues like bipolar 2 and depression. She broke her hip about 2 yrs. ago and it's gotten worse ever since. My sister's have cleaned out her little section 8 apartment. I was asked if I wanted anything and I told them I didn't want anything except any pictures of my kids. I knew it wouldn't be much more than 5 yrs, worth when they were babies. I received the pictures and looked through them but hadn't sorted anything yet. I'm going to guess that I'll be getting rid of half the stack that I received. There are duplicated of ones that I already have, random house pictures, and a few from my parents wedding in 1971 that aren't close up enough to even tell who the people are. My parents divorced when I have 5 yrs. old. I already have a couple pictures of them from the pictures I got when my step-dad had came to live with us 9 years ago before he went into a nursing home, he'll be 93 yrs. in May.

A couple weeks later I started sorting the stack.

The left is keep until I sort them into our photo boxes to find any duplicates. The right is definite toss.

I finally got around to sorting the remaining pictures and labeling the backs with a photo safe marker.

And sorted them into our photo boxes.

The 6 photos that I'm discarding after sorting the keeps into our photo boxes. I'm glad I finally got it done, thanks to my 40 Days of Projects.

Our printed photo storage in the living room. On the left is baby book and photo books. On the right is photo boxes.

Lent: #35 of 40 Days of Projects

I went through all my Pinterest boards to organize it better. I made sure pins were on the proper boards, deleted unneeded boards, delete unneeded pins, set the cover of a few boards, and moved the order of a few boards around. It did take a couple hour to do.

ME Pocket Cards: Part 3

I spent an afternoon watch Netflix and creating 7 pocket cards in my little office. I still have plenty of images to recycle from an old Mary Engelbreit page a day calendar so I'll be making more. My other postes about my Mary Engelbreit pocket cards are ME Pocket Cards: Part 1 and ME Cards Pocket: Part 2 that I made to use in my mini books or mixed media art journals.

Lent: #34 of 40 Days of Projects

I took everything on the floor of the camper off to store it to install new flooring. I forgot to take pictures of the trash cans, broom, and step stool in the bathtub.

The underneath of bed is empty of our basket with supplies.

The stuff in the shed, most of which is what is usually stored under our bed.
