Lent: #40 of 40 Days of Projects

I decide to paint the little box that I use for my planner supplies. The box used to be for a microscope but I tore out the divided sections in the drawers for the glass sides several years ago.

This picture from December shows what the planner box normally looks like on my shelf in my little office.

I took off the little door, took out the drawers, took off all the hardware, and sanded my planner box.

My planner box painted and the hardware being put back on by my husband.

Lent: #39 of 40 Days of Projects

My husband took everything out of the camper closets to paint them. I put everything back once he was finished. I forgot to take a picture of everything sitting on the counters and kitchen seating. This pictures is of everything left that my husband will take to the shed.

Lent: #38 of 40 Days of Projects

My mom had a health crisis a month ago and was told she's not stable enough to live on her own. She's moved into a nursing home, she's only 65 yrs. old. She's a alcoholic and has mental health issues like bipolar 2 and depression. She broke her hip about 2 yrs. ago and it's gotten worse ever since. My sister's have cleaned out her little section 8 apartment. I was asked if I wanted anything and I told them I didn't want anything except any pictures of my kids. I knew it wouldn't be much more than 5 yrs, worth when they were babies. I received the pictures and looked through them but hadn't sorted anything yet. I'm going to guess that I'll be getting rid of half the stack that I received. There are duplicated of ones that I already have, random house pictures, and a few from my parents wedding in 1971 that aren't close up enough to even tell who the people are. My parents divorced when I have 5 yrs. old. I already have a couple pictures of them from the pictures I got when my step-dad had came to live with us 9 years ago before he went into a nursing home, he'll be 93 yrs. in May.

A couple weeks later I started sorting the stack.

The left is keep until I sort them into our photo boxes to find any duplicates. The right is definite toss.

I finally got around to sorting the remaining pictures and labeling the backs with a photo safe marker.

And sorted them into our photo boxes.

The 6 photos that I'm discarding after sorting the keeps into our photo boxes. I'm glad I finally got it done, thanks to my 40 Days of Projects.

Our printed photo storage in the living room. On the left is baby book and photo books. On the right is photo boxes.

Lent: #36 of 40 Days of Projects

I updated the icons on my computer desktop and toolbar icons.

I updated my bookmarks toolbar and favorites.

I updated the folders on my computer. This looks simple but I have things broken down into many sub-folders. I try to keep it manageable and go through them often.

Lent: #35 of 40 Days of Projects

I went through all my Pinterest boards to organize it better. I made sure pins were on the proper boards, deleted unneeded boards, delete unneeded pins, set the cover of a few boards, and moved the order of a few boards around. It did take a couple hour to do.

ME Pocket Cards: Part 3

I spent an afternoon watch Netflix and creating 7 pocket cards in my little office. I still have plenty of images to recycle from an old Mary Engelbreit page a day calendar so I'll be making more. My other postes about my Mary Engelbreit pocket cards are ME Pocket Cards: Part 1 and ME Cards Pocket: Part 2 that I made to use in my mini books or mixed media art journals.

Lent: #34 of 40 Days of Projects

I took everything on the floor of the camper off to store it to install new flooring. I forgot to take pictures of the trash cans, broom, and step stool in the bathtub.

The underneath of bed is empty of our basket with supplies.

The stuff in the shed, most of which is what is usually stored under our bed.

Lent: #28 of 40 Days of Projects

Today, I decide to go through my Project Bags. I use these bags if I have to go someplace with waiting times or have hang out time. I didn't end up discarding anything but took a couple thing out and added a few things. It's really nice having my bags so organized. I usually add a book to these bags before I take them out for the day. I like to add a bottled drink and a snack too.

This is my blue/green Vera Bradley. I do take this bag camping alot because it's not as bulky but holds a good amount.

A view of the inside.

The contents of my project bag. I have a bit of everything to keep me busy.

I do tend to add my Kindle to this bag before an outing.

My blue/purple Vera project bag.

Lent: #27 of 40 Days of Projects

Today I decide to go through all my purses and mini bags. I organized a bit but didn't purge anything.

All my purses and mini bags. I store them in a basket together. All of my purses are Vera Bradley but I have an assortment of mini bags to organize the inside contents of my purses.

I store my smaller mini  bags into bigger ones.  I like to color coordinate my purses with mini bags inside. I buy them at the thrift stores and make sure the basic colors are similar to purses I own. I don't worry if the pattern or colors aren't exactly the same. I buy most of them for $1 each except the Vera Bradley mini bags which tend to cost about $5-$7 each. These are the ones that I'm not currently using.

Everything back into the basket and ready to go back into my closet.

My fancy beaded purses.

I decide to go through the purse that I'm currently using. I did decide to take a few extra lipsticks and perfumes out. I had a few receipts to discard too. My purse does stay mostly organized and I clean it out after I do an errand day but their are always little things that need done.

The inside of my purse.

The contents of my purse organized and ready to go back.

I carry this little wristlet when I don't want to take my purse but need my ID and such. I mostly use this one in the summer on trips especially if it's that time of the month.
