Beef and Lentils

1/4 medium onion
2 cloves garlic, diced
5 cups water
1lb. lentils
1tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. basil
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine all ingredients into slow cooker and stir. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours (check to see if lentils are tender).
