“31 Day Purge” Week 2

I'm following along with the A Bowl Full of Lemons "The 31 Day Purge" I did this challenge last year Week 2 of the “31 Day Purge”.

Day 8: Car:

Our cars are pretty organized but I did toss a few papers. They do need vacuumed and washed before winter. I'll have to do that this weekend. My husband has been doing a few repairs and maintenance over the last month before it gets cold.

Day 9: Bathroom Cabinets:

Our bathroom doesn't have much built-in storage so we are using a thrifted dresser.
I have the toddler toilet seat hung on the side and a step stool with cup hooks. The scale is leaning on the other side. I straightened the drawers up a little but didn't have anything to purge.

Day 10 Bills:

I spend a good amount of time at the beginning of September organizing our bill box and files. We did bills last night so not much needed to be done. I took a few seconds to straighten up the bill box.

Day 11 Freezer Food:

We have our young adult children living at home so we are having them use our fridge freezer for their things. We are using the chest freezer. I'm trying to make sure we have enough freezer food but not buy too much to minimize waste. I've been using a inventory sheet to keep track of what we have and its been very helpful. We donated our big old freezer we had in the basement several months ago.

Day 12 Medication:

We purged the cabinet we previously used for a medicine cabinet when we redid our bathroom. I'm sharing my were we keep our toiletries instead. Its a new cabinet.

I'm sharing a closer look at my essential salves/oils/tinctures. I purchased Sunshine Salve, Plantain Bug Bite Salve, Muscle Soothing Salve, Local Potion #9, Black Drawing Salve, Emergency Skin Salve, Soothing Lavender Oil, Propolis Tincture through Blue Lake Botanicals. I  purchased Eucalyptus from Meijer. I have a sample of Deep Blue Rub from doTerra. I have seen them at Wal-Mart too.

Day 13 Game Boards:

Our board games are in good shape. We did purge one this year that never got played.

Day 14 Books:

I have my Christian/Inspirational fiction books in a china cabinet in my bedroom. I've been challenging myself this year to read from my shelves and not purchase any new/used books. I have gotten 3 books this year as gifts but have not purchased any. I have been donating the books after I read them so my shelves are thinning out. I've donate a few this year that I decided I no-longer want to read too.
