Lent: #3 of 40 Days of Projects

My 3rd project for my 40 Day of Projects was taking apart the spring wreath that I hang on our side door entry. It was getting faded by the sun so I thought I'd give it a couple coats of spray paint too. I used a granite gray colored spray paint that I have leftover from a previous project and bought a second can for about $4. In total I spent $7 to redo this wreath.

I had redid this wreath in this style in June 2014 so it was due for an update.

This was it sitting in the basement waiting for the other wreaths to be done.

This is the wreath after spray painting it. It looks much better.

I bought a bunch of pink roses at the thrift store for $3. I'm not sure if they were worth it and next time I'll buy the ones at Walmart or Dollar Tree for $1 a bunch like I had originally planned to do.

I used the flowers and ribbon that I already had to decorate the wreath. I hung the wreath back on the side entry door. I'm not completely happy with the way it's decorated but it's good enough for now.
