During Holiday or for parties I use my desk a lot for cooling my baking project or to set all the things I am going to use such serving dishes, food items, and decorations until I am ready to use them. This means I have to clear my desk at a busy time and end up just putting all my stuff in my desk or on the shelves so it doesn’t all go to the same spot or get organized.
I cleared out the top draw of my desk to use to store my current projects. This will help me to keep the top of my desk clean and have a place to store things as I am working on them. I returned everything that wasn't to be stored in my office to their proper place. I also removed the shelf from my desk and stored it in my basement until I decide if my desk will be fine without it.
I even updated my little window decorations.
So how about you? Do you have any tricks for making yourself keep your office or desk neat and tidy? Or at least reasonably so?
