Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes

2 lb. hash brown potatoes
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cap cheddar cheese, shredded

In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients. Pour into a greased 9x13 glass pan (or 2 8x8 pans). Bake at 350 for 1 hour until browned.
