3 cups sugar
¾ cup butter or margarine
1 small can (5 oz) evaporated milk
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow crème or
16 marshmallows
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Line 9 inch square pan with foil.
Grease foil with butter or nonstick spray.
Bring sugar, butter and evaporated
milk to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan on medium heat. Stir constantly until candy
thermometer reaches 234℉ or ~5 minutes if no candy thermometer is available. Add chocolate chips and marshmallow crème
or marshmallows, walnuts and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan, spread
evenly and let cool. Cut into squares and use foil handles to lift fudge from
pan.
