My 7 Year Blog-Aversary

WooHoo! It’s been 7 years since I created my blog A Welcoming Heart on June 12th, 2009. I have enjoyed publishing my blog and want to continue to grow as a person. I am challenging myself over the next year to create content for other social media outlets. I’ve been working on a Youtube channel and Facebook page to promote my blog.

I’m a homemaker now that my children are grown instead of a stay-at-home mom/homeschooler. I have more free time to devote to the possibility of having a career and income. I want to do it in a way that allows me to continue to be home. I’m not sure how all this is going to work since I really have not used many social media outlets. I will need to learn a huge amount of stuff but I will give it my best. I’m praying for a successful year.
