40 Bags in 40 Days: Days 26-31

We are 31 days into the challenge and I have decluttered 40 bags of possessions. Wow, I have hit my goal of 40 bags. I can't believe I have purged that much stuff.  There are 9 days to go in the 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge and I'm going to keep going and see what I can find to purge from my home.

I donate everything to a local charity called The Clothes Closet. They give donated items away free to anyone in need. I have recycled 2 boxes of paper into a paper dumpster in my village. My normal trash that I put onto the curb has stayed the same amount each week.

I have re-purposed and redecorated with some of my possessions but the bulk of my purge has been donated by the end of each week. I'm leaning more toward minimalism. I've been working on it for awhile and am almost to the point were I feel like I'm done. I have revisited each area several times over the last 3 years to purge and organize. I have some left to revisit in the basement but I'm almost finished.

I've been spring cleaning during this challenge since my home was already in good shape before it began. I have been working on a few projects lately. I bought a little cabinet and organized my office supplies. I organized my cards, made dividers, and put them in mini totes. I redid most of my door wreaths this past week.

My Purge Pile for this Week:

2 large trash bag, 3 laundry baskets, a box of candle stuff, a wood crate, 2 grocery bags, and a chair. I'm counting this as 40 bags in 31 Days.
